The skills we need

Exceptional team leader with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.

You have 2+ years of experience in leading digital marketing teams from 15 people and up.

Exceptional, effective business professional communication and client presentation skills.

Excellent skills and 2 years + experience in training and coaching digital marketing professionals.

Solid understanding of digital marketing strategy and the ability to communicate digital marketing processes clearly.

You should be extremely self-sufficient and able to make decisions on your own.

Some role-based skills are also essential for success on the job. You must have experience leading a small team leadership and project management skills.

Strong communication, organizational, presentation, analytical, critical reasoning, and editing skills are essential.

You should be comfortable around technology and willing and able to quickly learn new applications and software.
Your day-to-day
-
Line management of a high-performing digital marketing team (20 to 35 people) including; coaching and training as well as driving culture and performance.

Commercial management of team to including training, coaching, and driving the teams to identify commercial opportunities.

Ensures adherence to processes and operates an effective quality measurement and control system.

Coordinates recruitment of staff to meet the needs of the team and arranges effective onboarding for new staff.

Contributes to the development of processes and coordinates delivery of training.

Manages resource allocation, coordinating capacity closely with other Pod Directors, the Specialist Managers, and the recruitment team.

Analyses and reports on team KPIs.

Builds and maintains positive working relationships with team, clients and internal departments.

Regular check-ins with their team members to ensure that they are performing according to standard and that they are happy and feel supported.
The non-negotiables

South Africa Citizenship or valid work visa is essential.

Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

Relevant experience in a similar position is essential.

Diploma or degree in Communications, PR, Digital Marketing or Marketing advantageous.
